you have a point dewdrop, but think of it in this way. There are so many aid workers. but only a handful talk to media like this. among those handful they say biased stories. So the question is if those biased stories are true, y arent the other aid workers (or anyother "officials") saying anything?? y r they silent?
I'll tell u y, bcos they are there to help ppl, not to make news or false claims or to make money. They know their duty as human beings. Those really r super heroes.
It is not the case that there isn't truth out there much for the ppl to know. Its the fact that ppl should logically try to analyze what they listen to. Or they would bcome nothing less than brainwashed.

1. All most all international news agencies quote people inside the war zone (such as doctors or tiger spokesmen) and the military denials too. They pretty much always say they cant independantly verify the info from either party as no one is allowed into the zone. I think that is very fair reporting. You are not seeing the whole picture.

2. Superhero by definition has to have a special power (and others quoting him doesn't count)

well its quite an uncanny slurr on the men and women who do provde their services in a dangerous situation. But yes u do hav a point. Ppl with biases are "re-incarnated" as independent to tell a story. but seriously can anyone b independent in a situation that is so charged and influences emotions?? and y are humans expected ot b independant? to get at one absolute truth where none exists? the important thing is for as many different voices/ versions of a story to come out and for ppl to swift through it to find the truth or an approximation of the truth between the line.. a handful of individuals cannot provide that. and one cannot dismiss the importance of wat ur list of super-heroes do..(i'm guessing dat aint ur intention) the military aint the only hero :) and hope the blogger wasnt affected by all the "heroism" propaganda flying abt dat tries to drill in dat message. It is indeed a sad situ about which we will never really know the truth.. and in a way ur right. if those few with access twists the tale too much we would never know wat happened and our memories will b tainted by "pseudo-facts" dat push us to either extreme.. fanning more division
